Originally the Ernst & Young trust business in the Isle of Man and latterly part of the Anglo Irish Bank Group, the senior management team completed a management buy out of the company in December 2006, to form Equiom Trust Company Limited. The acquisition was completed in partnership with ISIS Equity Partners, with senior debt provided by The Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
